Happy Monday!
Full disclosure, I am writing this at around 11am on Friday. Currently, I am in sunny Hawaii with my husband celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. Technically our anniversary is in July, but who wants to go to a tropical island in the Summer? Even though I’m not there yet (as of writing this email), I’m going to go out on a limb and say we’re having a great time. Don’t worry, you know I’ll include all the details when I get back.
Even though I’m out of the office all this week, we’ve still got a ton going on. Before looking at events, I’ve got some notes for you, because honestly, when don’t I?
First, I want to remind you all that the Help for the Homeless Hygiene Drive is in full swing. We have donation boxes set up at both building entrances. You have until March 3rd to drop off donations.
Also, I want to let you know that the Hearing Screenings that were supposed to be happening on the 21st has been cancelled. I have more details below, but it has been rescheduled for March 5th.
Finally, if you would normally email me to sign up for classes or events, I am not here this week. However, you can absolutely still email in sign-ups. Please send them to Joa at jcain@generationsic.org or Diane at the front desk. She has an email now, and can be reached at dreineking@generationsic.org. You can still email me if you’d like, but please know I won’t be able to respond until February 27th at the earliest. Joa and Diane are going to be your go-to gals in the meantime.
Alright, here’s what we have coming up…

Being on vacation is no reason to slack and forget a final note!
Kendall asked me to remind you all to please make sure the front of your car is not hanging over the walkways when you are parking. It makes it harder for people to walk if they have walkers or wheel chairs, and if we get more snow, it is near impossible to move the snow blower around. If you pulled in too far, please get back in your car and back it up a little. It will really help Kendall out and will also help those who need help with their mobility.
Thanks for making it to the end. Enjoy your week and see you all soon!
