Generations is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for its guests, members, volunteers, and staff. In order to achieve this goal, Generations expects each guest, member, volunteer, and staff person to conduct themselves in an appropriate, respectful, responsible, and non-threatening way.
Generations is an Intergenerational Center. We provide a space for people of all ages to gather and share experiences. To achieve this goal, we ask that everyone sharing the space conduct themselves in a manner appropriate for all ages. This includes, but is not limited to:
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to:
Firearms, knives, explosives, or any other dangerous object, including but not limited to any facsimile firearm, knife, or explosive are prohibited within the Generations facility or at any on- or off-site activity sponsored in-part or in-full by Generations.
Any violation of the code of conduct will result in actions taken against the perpetrator. Consequences will be applied equally to any violation, regardless of circumstance. All consequences will be initiated by Generations’ staff and approved by the Executive Director before going into effect.
Any guest, member, volunteer, or staff that commits or attempts to commit any offense is subject to sanctions, including but not limited to:
Generations staff does not wish to remove members from any activity or the facility. However, when warranted, we will take appropriate action using the following discipline structure:
Level 1 Offenses
Level 2 Offenses
Level 3 Offenses
Level 4 Offenses
Local authorities will be notified and/or requested for assistance in any situation, regardless of the level of offense, if it is reasonably believed that one or more party is in danger.
The code of conduct is executed by the Executive Director, whose decision will prevail in all cases. The Executive Director reserves the right to investigate situations, interview those involved, and adjust penalties if warranted.
Appeals to penalties may be submitted in writing to the Executive Director. In the case of banishment, appeal letters may be mailed to:

Appeals will be handled in a timely manner. Penalties will remain in effect until an appeal decision has been made, at which time the appellant will be notified of the decisions.
